Cambodia Visa Information
A short guide to entering Cambodia as a visitor. Rules and fees change — always confirm on the official government websites before you travel.
01 Do I need a visa?
Most visitors need a tourist visa. Citizens of some countries — including most ASEAN members — can visit without a visa for a limited number of days; the number depends on the country.
02 e-Visa (apply online)
- Apply on the official site of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: evisa.gov.kh.
- Tourist e-visa: single entry, stay up to 30 days.
- Print the e-visa or keep it on your phone, and show it on arrival.
- Use only the official site — other websites may charge extra fees.
03 Visa on arrival
- Available at the international airports, including Siem Reap Angkor International Airport, and at main land border checkpoints.
- Tourist visa: stay up to 30 days. Bring US dollars in cash for the fee and a passport photo.
- Some land crossings — for example from Thailand — may be closed or limited; check before you travel.
04 e-Arrival card
Visitors flying into Cambodia must complete the Cambodia e-Arrival card online, within the seven days before arrival, on the official site arrival.gov.kh.
05 What to bring
- A passport valid for at least six months, with at least one blank page.
- A return or onward ticket.
- Your e-visa (or cash and a photo for a visa on arrival) and your e-Arrival confirmation.
